The initiative focused on addressing gender-based violence (GBV) on campuses and promoting the safety and well-being of both male and female students. Students from across the UNZA campus attended the event, engaging with speakers who highlighted the challenges of GBV and shared practical strategies to prevent further incidents among the student population. As part of the broader campaign, students were also informed about ongoing initiatives, such as campus radio programs and peer influencer dialogues, which provide platforms for open conversation and crowdsourcing solutions to GBV-related issues.
