The President’s Charity Golf Tournament Lusaka — The President’s Charity Golf Tournament took place on 5th November 2023 at the State House Golf Course, successfully bringing together corporate partners, golfers, and community leaders for a noble cause. The annual tournament aimed to mobilize resources to assist minority groups in society, including women, youth, and children—segments often most vulnerable to poverty and social disparities, despite the important roles they play within their communities. While government initiatives such as the Social Cash Transfer and Food Security Packs provide essential support, the tournament demonstrated how private-sector collaboration can complement these efforts, helping to distribute resources more effectively and promote equitable development. All funds raised during the event were directed to selected charities and development initiatives chosen by President Hakainde Hichilema, reflecting his ongoing commitment to empowering all Zambians. The President has consistently emphasized the goal of improving livelihoods and creating a united, prosperous, and equitable nation. The tournament also supported the growth of golf in Zambia, particularly benefiting the junior Golf team, with participants drawn from sponsoring partners. This year’s edition featured 40 teams, each comprising four players, and offered an environment for friendly competition, networking, and collaboration. Organizers praised the strong participation from the business community and corporate institutions, underlining the importance of collective effort in advancing national development. The President’s Charity Golf Tournament successfully combined sport, philanthropy, and private-sector engagement, setting a positive precedent for future editions. https://brandline.co.zm/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/BLACHARITYGOLF_2023_HD-online-video-cutter.com_.mp4 Previous PostNext Post
