In September 2024, Brand-Line Africa successfully managed a UNESCO event at the University of Zambia (UNZA), Lusaka, as part of the UNESCO Safer Campuses campaign. The initiative focused on addressing gender-based violence (GBV) on campuses and promoting the safety and well-being of both male and female students.

Students from across the UNZA campus attended the event, engaging with speakers who highlighted the challenges of GBV and shared practical strategies to prevent further incidents among the student population. The discussions encouraged students to reflect on their roles in creating safer campus environments and emphasized the importance of community participation in tackling GBV.

As part of the broader campaign, students were also informed about ongoing initiatives, such as campus radio programs and peer influencer dialogues, which provide platforms for open conversation and crowdsourcing solutions to GBV-related issues. 

Through these efforts, the event not only raised awareness but also empowered students with knowledge and resources to actively contribute to a safer and more inclusive campus.
