The groundbreaking ceremony for the Lunsemfwa 27 MWp solar project took place in Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia, on 24 September 2025, marking the start of the country’s first solar‑hydro hybrid power station. The project, developed by Lunsemfwa Hydro Power Company, will integrate solar energy with existing hydropower capacity to strengthen the national grid and support sustainable energy development. 

Brand-Line Africa managed the event, overseeing coordination and logistics to ensure a seamless and professional ceremony, which brought together government officials, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to celebrate this milestone in Zambia’s renewable energy sector.
