Lusaka, Zambia — November 2023 — The Golf Legends Tour Zambia 2023 successfully took place at Bonanza Golf Course from November 13 to 19, 2023, bringing together renowned international golf icons and shining a spotlight on Zambia’s growing influence in sports tourism.

Before the tournament kicked off, the Local Organising Committee—comprising the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts, Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Agency of Zambia, Golf Union of Zambia (ZGU), Bonanza Resort, and Brand-Line Africa Ltd—held its initial planning meeting in Lusaka. This meeting set the tone for the event and laid the foundation for a well-coordinated and successful tour.

During the planning phase, the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts pledged its support for the tournament, emphasising its importance in promoting sports development and skills advancement in the country. The Ministry also called on corporate sponsors to participate in strengthening the event’s long-term impact.

Event promoters Brand-Line Africa noted the significance of building strong partnerships and highlighted the value of having key ministries and ZGU actively involved from the onset. Throughout the planning and execution of the tour, Brand-Line Africa worked closely with various local and international stakeholders to ensure the event delivered on its promise.
